Polyurethane foam, commonly used in cases, offers flexibility for items while providing dense cushioning, even for heavy objects. Technically, polyurethane is open-cell, allowing air and water to flow freely. It weighs approximately 1.2 - 1.3 lbs per cubic foot. Custom cuts are available for an additional nominal fee.
